5 Weeks

Week 5: Sunday November 19th, 2017

Eggy's Size: Seasame seed (0.004 oz, 0.10")

Weight Gained: (starting at 101.8 lbs) 0.6 lbs gained this is just probably due to normal fluctuation.

Pregnancy Symptoms: Feeling almost normal this week. If I forget to eat I do start feeling the nausea coming on. I've started packing small apple sauce squeeze packages and almond-nut bars as snacks which seems to help. Also I've been breaking out on my face with some hormonal zits- just on my chin.

Food Cravings: Still liking meaty things. I've been eating lots of brothy soups with veggies and meat.

Food Aversions: I have come to the conclusion that either my body, the baby, or BOTH do not like cheese right now. No Mexican food...I've gotten ill every time I've eaten it (4 times). I used to love cheese. And all week I've been trying to eat it because I know I love it. But I literally have diarrhea and nausea each time I do...sorry TMI.

Mood: Pretty normal this week, just exhausted. Might just be due to work though.

Eggy's Mood: Egg seems to have quieted down a lot this week (in terms of symptoms) I think Eggy is really settling into his/her new home.

Baby Prepping Accomplishments: We told one of Cliffton's sisters and brother-in-law. I didn't realize we wouldn't be seeing his eldest sis until a week or two from now. Bummer. But on the flip side I'm happy that we have some more people to share in the excitement with! We had a lovely dinner together and they gave us some good advice on baby raising.

On the Horizon: We're getting a new house! It's pretty amazing because we were in the works of getting this newer house without even knowing we are pregnant. Also Cliffton just found out tonight that he got a promotion at work! Lots of fun new things on the horizon for sure!

No prego picture for this week because I'm lazy. Also I look exactly the same. Just more hormonal zits on my face.
